The Dr. Jerry V. Burns Memorial Scholarship Fund

 

The Dr. Jerry V. Burns Memorial Scholarship Fund is a tribute to Rev. Dr. Jerry V. Burns', life accomplishments and his legacy of giving, he made through society.

 

The Dr. Jerry V. Burns Memorial Scholarship Fund was also formed in memory of Rev. Dr. Jerry V. Burns, Pastor, and Founder of Open Door Church of God in Christ for 36 years until his passing on June 13, 2012.  He had a love for all mankind young and old and wanted to make a difference in lives.

 

The Dr. Jerry V. Burns Memorial Scholarship Fund is dedicated to helping high school graduates an opportunity in pursuing their education and achieving their goals.  The scholarship will help undeserving students fulfill their dreams when they are financially challenged.  The scholarship will be awarded annually and participants will be required to complete the scholarship criteria.
 
The Dr. Jerry V. Burns Memorial Scholarship Fund is founded to help students achieve their goals and become Leaders of Tomorrow, (Doctors, Lawyers, Teachers, etc.)  
 

The Dr. Jerry V. Burns Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established to honor Rev. Dr. Jerry V. Burns who made a great impact in so many lives and wanted students to have the opportunity to further their education. Keeping his legacy alive this scholarship will help achieve their goals.
